Colleagues,

A Ph.D. position partially funded by the National Science Foundation is open in my lab. I am looking for highly motivated students, ideally with a Master or prior research experience, and interested in the evolution of mosses and their genomes. Our project focuses on the Funariaceae which harbor the model taxon Physcomitrium (Physcomitrella) patens, and on the significance of shifts in ploidy in the diversification of the Physcomitrium complex.

For more info, visit the lab webpage at bryology.uconn.edu.

For more info on the department, visit eeb.uconn.edu.

Anyone that qualifies and is interested, please contact me.

Best wishes to all,

Bernard
